Join Python and Rosa for a deep-dive into the 3-rope Takate Kote (TK) they use regularly in both their teaching and personal tying. This intensive class focuses on understanding why they tie the way they do—exploring the principles, structure, and adaptability that make their TK reliable, beautiful, and functional across a range of bodies.
What You’ll Learn
• The core concepts and philosophy behind this version of the 3-rope TK
• Step-by-step guidance through their tying process and handling style
• Understanding tension, body alignment, and communication for safe, effective practice
• Variations and adjustments for different body types, mobility levels, and aesthetics
• Practical exercises to improve your consistency, flow, and body awareness while tying
Pre-Requisites:
• For riggers: You should be comfortable with the basic structure of a 2-rope Takate Kote and familiar with general safety principles.
• For bottoms: You should be open to exploring your body’s responses and limits within a TK structure. This class will include discussion and reflection on comfort, safety, and individual anatomy in suspension-oriented harnesses.
This class is suitable for beginner improvers who want to refine their tying of the TK and understand it in detail.
