About the event

Suspending Comfortably — Introduction to Supportive Suspension

Curious about suspension but unsure where to begin?

This 3-hour workshop is designed for those who want to explore suspension in a way that prioritises comfort and support.

We will deep-dive into two simple suspensions specifically chosen for their stability and supportive structure. These patterns are designed to help the person tied be able to relax into the experience rather than simply endure it.

If you’ve always wanted to try suspension but worry it might be intense or uncomfortable, this workshop offers a gentler entry point.

For riggers, this class provides two tried-and-tested suspensions you can reliably use when introducing someone new to suspension — helping you build trust, safety, and positive first experiences.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with practical suspension pathways, better understanding of how to support the body in the air, and tools to make suspension feel welcoming rather than intimidating.

What will be covered:

  • Our new hands free chest harness

  • Uplines

  • Two lower body harnesses

Suitable for:

  • Riggers looking to begin suspension work

  • Partners who want a comfortable first suspension experience

  • Anyone looking to build confidence before exploring more dynamic suspension
