About the event
Core Skills: 2 Rope TK
In this Core Skills session we’ll explore the 2 Rope TK
The takate-kote (TK) is one of the most recognisable structures in rope. In this Core Skills class we’ll focus on building a solid foundation by learning two different approaches to tying a 2-rope TK, exploring how each method creates slightly different tension, structure, and tying flow.
Together we’ll look at:
The basic anatomy and purpose of the TK
Two tying methods using two ropes
How to manage tension, rope paths, and clean structure
Key safety considerations and communication while tying
By comparing the two approaches, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the TK works and how small choices in tying can affect both the structure and the experience for the person in rope.
