Sxha_NotSha is a BDSM enthusiast who enjoys connecting with others through a mutual love of kink. He has been an active member and event organiser from the local kink community since 2020. He is also a facilitator from a group of local kinksters who are keen to spread a baseline understanding of safety and consent among the Singapore kink scene.

The Workshop

Kink is a playground to discover much about yourself and others, but it can also be intimidating or bewildering to navigate. Play is pleasure; play also carries risk.

This interactive workshop aims to provide participants with basic concepts and knowledge to negotiate with a play partner and engage in safer, consensual, and enjoyable experiences. With a focus on practical skills, the workshop will take participants through a series of exercises to apply them in actual conversations. It is intended for those who are relatively new to kink, as well as those who are experienced but are curious to learn more.

This workshop is co-created and facilitated by moderators across various kink groups in Singapore and offers participants the opportunity to learn from the real-life experiences (and goof-ups) of others. In learning how to find your way through kink, the knowledge of how to negotiate and articulate your position is a fundamental skill in having fun, while keeping both you and your play partner safe.

Learning Outcomes:

• Grasp fundamental concepts of consent within the context of BDSM and kink.

• Understand your risk profile and practice risk awareness to ensure safety and well-being.

• Apply simple techniques to communicate and negotiate scenes and boundaries effectively.
